A combination of image and textual elements, 'Fair Exchange…' is positioned firmly in the hermetically sealed world of finance, and touches on several contemporary issues, from the relationship of cost and value, to the conflict between the individual and the institution.
The work consists of photographs and the written documentation pertaining to a performance, presenting a curious aesthetic mix – from the crisply professional to the shabbily home-made - reminding us that appearances can be deceptive, and that we can no longer be sure of what is real and what is fake.
